Use and Storage of personal information

Any information obtained will be used solely by SmartWood Ltd, and never be supplied to anyone else without your consent, unless obliged/permitted by law to do so.

We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as you use the particular service you have requested. It will be removed in the event that the purpose has not been met, or, in the case of a personalised service, such as online billing, you no longer wish to continue your registration as a personalised user.

We will ensure that all personal information supplied is held securely, in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

Access to personal information

You have the right to request a copy of the personal information Smartwood holds about you, and to have any inaccuracies corrected. The charge for this is £10 for information requests. Payment Information

Our site uses 128bit secure encryption to ensure that your personal details remain private. Your credit and debit card payments are processed by Barclays ePDQ card payment facility. We never transmit your card details over the internet as these are entered directly onto the Barclay secure payments facility.

Under 16 users

If you are aged 16 or under, please get your parent or guardian's permission beforehand whenever you provide personal information to Smatwood's website. Users without this consent are not allowed to provide us with personal information.
