Our Delivery Service

At Smartwood we believe in offering a more personal service for our customers. One of the most important parts of this is the delivery.

We use a national specialist in Furniture Home Delivery. All our sets of furniture and larger items are delivered by a two man crew. They will bring items into the room of choice, unpackage all items and assemble large items such as tables that require it. The service is completed with full quality check to ensure that you everything is to your satisfaction. All packaging will be removed.

Small items of furniture and home accessories are delivered using national carriers and the Royal Mail. 

Preparing for Delivery of Furniture

You will be contacted prior to us releasing your goods for Home Delivery to check that you are ready to receive the goods, finalise contact details and confirm balance payments.

Once this final check has taken place we will pass on your details to our Home Delivery Service and they will contact you asking you to get in touch to book your delivery. They deliver in different areas on different days. Bookings can be made by text, online or by telephone. You will normally be given an am/pm slot and they do offer a "call an hour before" if helpful.

Please assist us by letting us or the Home Delivery Service know if there are any access problems to the property or if you have any parrticular requirements.

Before delivery make sure that you clear the access to your chosen room and the area where the furniture is to be located.
